Why I Created Foods for Your Life

Over the years, people in my Energy for Your Life workshops kept asking me for food and entertaining ideas that would help them improve their health.  Most of them also needed recipes that would also be readily adopted and shared with their spouses, kids and friends.  I'd usually give them a list of foods to use or avoid, and the names of a few cookbooks.  But I knew they needed far more information, help and ideas than what I could give them in a few short minutes if their efforts were going to make their results worthwhile.

Last year, a good friend of mine suggested that I put together all my ideas about food, dietary, health and energizing lifestyle choices into a TV and web-cast series.  Two months later, I began sketching Foods for Your Life.  Soon, I'd created the show's outline, and began to test the recipes I'd use for the shows.  

I knew that my recipes had aided my and others' healing.  And so I did more research and pulled out my old recipe box so that I could begin testing them.  I also started to finally write down recipes that I knew by heart, and my program began to take shape. 

It's my hope that this website, my blogs and a future cookbook will be a forum where I can share healing, nurturing and great tasting food with you and yours.  My own research is combined with consultations and interviews that I've had with leading health-care practitioners, chefs, and many people who've solved or improved their own health concerns.

I've used most of these recipes to heal myself, my family, friends and people who I've coached.  I'll flag the recipes so that you know how they may benefit you.  And I hope you'll get as many 'wow's' from family and friends as I have, whenever you serve a dish.  Best of all, these recipies will suit your busy, time-challenged lifestyle. 

Most of all, may you find true peace of mind knowing that you'll not only gain more energy from the foods in your life, but that you'll also enjoy what you're eating, and know that your family and friends are being positively impacted too.
