Depending on the study, 42% to 82% of us say we are tired most of the time. Over 50% of us don’t know the sandman’s email address. And 25% of us are suffer from clinical exhaustion.
Three M.D.’s told me that I’d never recover from three chronic fatigue syndrome viruses – ever. I’m glad I didn’t listen to them. Instead, I decided to study what it was that had made me and other people tired.
I’ve interviewed and coached hundreds of people and can tell you that the ways we use our energy determine our results. If you feel good and positive about something, you’ll likely experience better energy levels to go with how you feel. If you are often worried, fearful, upset, down or angry, you may have gotten into personal energy use habits where be steal your own energy from yourself. There’s even better news: leading scientists and neuroplasticians, such as Dr. Norman Doige, have found that our brains ARE plastic. We can change what we think, how often we think certain things and what we can do with our thoughts.
If you can change how you think, you will also be able to change how you feel. If you can change how you feel, you will change your vibes and your resulting energy levels. Once your thoughts, feelings and energy have been renewed, you will improve the amount of energy you have available for your use.
